Excellent service from Dales cycles in Glasgow . I was looking for a new set of lights and from ordering to arriving 48 hours . Simple striaght forward to use . well pleased .
As a footnote the've been a cycle shop since 1912 and its been the same family running it since the 1950's so they must be doing something right !

Great shop and, with Tiso just round the corner, it was always my go-to shopping corner in the city every payday before I retired. 😁 Happy days.

I remember them from the days they were at the start of Maryhill Road… first decent bike came from there, as did a Carradice Nelson saddlebag that is still in regular use. By 1985 they had moved to Dobbies’ Loan and that is where I got my Saracen Triathlon, later repurposed as a touring bike that took me all over Scotland, the North of England, France and Spain. And I still have it too 😁.

There used to a a fantastic old guy called Jack Brown, who seemed to be a permanent resident there - he wasn’t an employee or as far as I could see a customer. He had a magnificent handlebar moustache and rode an equally spendid Flying Scot and would regale anyone in cycling tales. Anyone remember him? This was nearly 50 years ago… happy days
