Excellent service from Dales cycles in Glasgow . I was looking for a new set of lights and from ordering to arriving 48 hours . Simple striaght forward to use . well pleased .
As a footnote the've been a cycle shop since 1912 and its been the same family running it since the 1950's so they must be doing something right !

Re: Dales Cycles Glasgow
Great shop and, with Tiso just round the corner, it was always my go-to shopping corner in the city every payday before I retired.
Happy days.
Re: Dales Cycles Glasgow
I remember them from the days they were at the start of Maryhill Road… first decent bike came from there, as did a Carradice Nelson saddlebag that is still in regular use. By 1985 they had moved to Dobbies’ Loan and that is where I got my Saracen Triathlon, later repurposed as a touring bike that took me all over Scotland, the North of England, France and Spain. And I still have it too
.
There used to a a fantastic old guy called Jack Brown, who seemed to be a permanent resident there - he wasn’t an employee or as far as I could see a customer. He had a magnificent handlebar moustache and rode an equally spendid Flying Scot and would regale anyone in cycling tales. Anyone remember him? This was nearly 50 years ago… happy days

Got my Peugot 10 speed from the Maryhill shop in the 70s.
