11s HG (37mm deep cassette body) road wheel set (rim brake) in decent condition - or just a rear wheel?

Post by jahknob »

If anyone has a pair of alloy rim-brake 11s Shimano HG-compatible (cassette body needs to be 37mm deep, not 35mm, which is 8/9/10s) road wheels in good condition - runs true and round, bearings good, brake track in VGC or better (no QRs needed), or even just a rear wheel, please get in touch (based London). Ideally, not looking to spend too much, just trying to help out a friend upgrade a 10s bike to 11s..

Thanks!

Just in case you were not already aware of the fact, 11sp Shimano cassettes with a 34t or larger maximum sprocket fit 8sp/9sp freehubs (and consequently require a 1.85mm spacer if used on an 11sp hub).

Appreciate that info! Would be great if he had a long-cage mech and wide ratio cassette capability - maybe one day...
