Finding touch up paint that matches my frame

I used SWMBO's nail varnish!
She has LOADS of it in boxes and in drawers. You name the colour ......
Base-coat too ......

Yes.
With or without glitter.
She even has a varnish that can go over any colour you like, that gives a "crackle" finish!

I had my latest frame enamelled in Midland Railway Crimson Lake. :oops:
There'll always be a match as long as there are railway modellers!

I took my bike to a motor paint supply shop and they matched it up for £3 for a small tub with its own brush.

Thorn pick the standard colours for their bikes to match Humbrol colours, or at least used to.

Even for those who paint their frames black, there are many different kinds of black.

I'm truly surprised that no-one has come up with this (unless I haven't read this thread properly). The answer is to have your frame painted with touch-up paint Doh! :roll:
