Our client is one of the countries leading private consultancies. They are working very closely with the London Cycle Network to deliver a coherent cycle network strategy across London. Working with TfL, Boroughs and other stakeholders, this position would suit a keen cyclist who wants to play an active role in ensuring that the cycle lanes are suitable, effective and safe for users. It is felt that a cyclist who has to use these facilities are better equiped to provide useful commentary into the development of the cycle lanes.
The role will require good communication skills, an awareness of challenges facing cyclist and an interest in improving the services to cyclists. If you have a planning or project management background it would be useful but what is more important is a desire to make a difference for cyclists in London.
