Which type of bike

Hi - Im new to the forum and intending to get back into cycly riding.
I want to get an upright bike with straight or foldback handlebars (like a Pashley - but dont have that much money) plus a big sprung saddle for using on roads, is there a generic title for this type of bike? (eg as there is for "mountain bikes" / "racing bikes" et al) if so, I might find it easier to search for that type online.

I have always referred to them as "roadsters".
There are plenty of them for sale on Ebay.
