Dawes Discovery 801 - is there such a thing?

Hi,
I'm about to bid on Ebay
Item number:110336231823
for this Dawes Discovery.
It says it is 801, but I didn't know that there was such a model - can anyone help?

Hi there.

Yep just checked a 1997 Dawes Catalogue. There was a Discovery 801 and also a 1000. The 801 in the catalogue has similar spec to the one on ebay. Looks a great bike with a 531 frame.
