People tell me that I look ahead. Although still working on the "mule", there will come a time when this will need to be built as a proper, fullsized bike.
For that reason, I'm trying to find a framebuilder who can make a prototype out of steel. Preferably without a jig at this stage. There is a conventional bike to copy from and the mule to show the different bits. A basic paint-job will suffice. All intellectual property rights will be reserved.
Thanks everybody in anticipation of your help. Punk_shore

What is the colour(s) of your cycle?
Which of its benefits would you recommend?

Dave Yates seems to be up for unusual jobs, but he's pretty busy at the moment I think.

Chris Marshall of Keighley is capable of doing anything that is technically feasible in steel tubing. (He might not want to put his name and US Marshall's badge on, if it's outlandish
)
He is also a wizard with the paint spray.
Of course, he is a craftsman of some experience, whose speciality is made-to-measure 'lightweight' bikes. He's not some poor so-and-so working in a fareastern sweat shop for the occasional bowl of rice. Be prepared to dig deep and release a flutter of wallet moths.
I suppose the alternative is somebody on work experience at some job creation scheme.

Kevin WInter builds prototypes fro manufacturers. I have one of his frames and the workmanship is second to none.
