great stuff Mick. for some reason i can't post on your blog. what an achievement. to think, you were 'commenting' on the Chopper's seat up in Edinburgh, and you persisted to the end (another 500 miles ?). more than most would have been capable of.

Yes, the saddle gave me problems all the way!
Saying that, my bum started to get used to it during the last few days. It hurt terribly during the hot spell down through Cumbria/Lancs/Cheshire, but after then, I could go for 10 miles at a time rather than having to stop every 3 or 4. By the time I was coming down from Gloucester, I could go for 15 miles at at a time.
Funny what you get used to!
