With lace?

ummmmmh!

I bought a bamboo (w cotton & viscose) T shirt the other week. Then saw some Merino wool in Blacks half price so got a beautiful long sleeved jersey (or vest) with flowers on in burgundy for £20. I'll keep going in to look what's reduced.

Only just managed to get into Aldi, plenty of bike stuff still left except I saw no computers, not that I needed one!)

The socks looked good but I found none in my size, the jackets look much better than those that Lidl were selling earlier this year, the zips in particular are good quality from YKK rather than t*tal cr*p Not sure of how they fit as I didn't have time to try one on.

The gloves are sized VERY tight and wouldn't even come close to fitting me even in the XL size (no XXL stock left) Bought a gel saddle for 8 quid for the bike on my trainer as my ar5e has got too soft over the winter

I bought an SS top, 4 x underwear and sunglasses.

The underwear are great if you like using a normal pair of pants/shorts, very comfy :)

oh yea and 2pair of socks, wasn't too impressed last time I bought some , they kept riding down, lets hope these are better .

I bought a pair of shorts but took them back.
The padding wasn't high enough in the front and is halfway up the back.
Might be alright in a recumbent but does nothing for modesty.

Shame really as at £7 they would have been really good value.
I do have a previous pair and these have been good.

The gloves were a real let down - I tried them on in the shop and they were quite tight - the XL were loose and the L were fine so I bought two pairs - they cut in between the fingers badly! Total waste of money. Shame becasue they're really well made and the gel is good. :x

I brought three pairs of lycra shorts . . . took them home . . . tried on a pair and they fitted nicely.

I walked around a bit with them on and noticed that the padded seat was a bit bulky and on the rigid side.
Also, the black, lycra material was very thin compared with other (normal) brands.

Having pondered the importance of a comfortable undercarriage whilst cycling I returned them all and swapped them for the breathable, vibram-soled, walking boots. I sure hope that they are not a lemon.

I tried on all sizes of the long sleeve lightwight tops and could hardly get my fists through any of them.
I like to be able to roll the sleeves up when I get a bit warm but find that most longsleeve tops have too tight a wristband.
Even cutting through the elastic doesn't help.
I know I've got wide feet but until now didn't realise I suffered from wide arms too!

i agree, like wearing a surgical bandage up the arm

but for 16 beer coupons it would have been rude not too

I got one of the sort of goretex jackets from lidl recently. £8 and fantastic working. Well worth getting next time they become available.
