Via Michelin bike route option?

As a last minute necessity I am cycling from Amsterdam to Paris, and have limited time for detailed route planning. Has anyone followed routes through Europe using the Via Michelin website, if so how did you find it?

I only have experience of using the viamichelin routes in the Uk. I've no complaints.

I've used it in France (for relatively short trips) and it's been good. It sometimes sends you down un-surfaced tracks (but better that then sending you down motorways, I suppose; and there's usually an alternative).
