London Cycle Fridays

This sounds an excellent idea, having a group of commuters led by 4 LCC organisers meet up on the outskirts and ride into Central London. I know that some schools do things like this to encourage Children to walk, and there is the safety in numbers element. Not to mention hightened awareness of the dangers involved a la white van drivers and trucks.
Things are looking up if TFL are beginning to take cycle commuting seriously, I just hope that they are taking it seriously as opposed to ticking a box thus setting it up to fail.
