Now I would have thought that by now the "new" Keo's would be fully sorted and totally creak/squeak free.
So I have just changed over on two of my road bikes to the "new" Keo system, and blow me if that one side doesn't creak and squeak just as much as the old ones did, in fact maybe worse on occasions!
New pedals, new cleats and new shoes, same type of noise and from only one shoe, left hand side? I know that its not the bottom bracket as I have only recently fitted a Hope stainless steel one.
When I was out yesterday and it started doing the normal noises, after 60 miles or so, in desperation I sprayed the pedal with liquid from my drinks bottle and it stopped, so I know that its a rubbing/tolerance issue.
In the past I have tried silicon spray and for a while its ok, if you are into a long ride, 70 miles +, it rubs off and back comes those dams creaks.
And of course by which time you are getting pretty knackered and of course things always seem worse then, and naturally they creak more when going up hill under load.
Surely someone must have a cure or a suggestion?...................please
