Looking for a pair of wheels for my fast tourer, must be 700c to take up to 28mm tyre, silver, eyeleted, preferably 36 holes and Shimano 105 or equivalent hubs in silver, nearly forgot must take a 9 speed casette...any recomendations under the £200 mark?

Spa make some bullet proof but not necessarily fast wheels I think Chrina rims with 105 hubs would be your best bet probably with a 32 hole front and a 36 rear, Sapim spokes double butted front and non drive side rear plain on drive side.

My 953 has DRC ST17 rims (the Open Pro look-alike) on Ultegra hubs, 36H front and rear, front X3, rear X4. Spokes are Sapim Strong single butted on the rear drive side, I used ACI double butted everywhere else but Lazers are good or Sapim Race.
Home built is the way to go!

Only 32 hole but this like implies a handbuilt along your lines is not impossible with 105 hubs and open pro rims.

Look on the Roseversand website. They do a vast variety of wheels at often very much lower prices than UK shops, 105 hubbed wheels start at 129 euros a pair. Given the difference between German and British engineering standards they're likley to be better made as well. Postage is 12 euros.
