As with many other suggestions;

Newspaper for shoes,
Keep a big towel at work and roll clothes in it, twist quite tightly and it will absorb a lot of water from clothes, wring out clothes as much as possible first.

I always keep some dry socks and undies at work.
Most stuff is usually adequately dry again by end of shift.
Nurture friendships with boiler men etc.

maxwellhadley wrote:My ancient Dell PC at work blows out a lovely stream of warm air out the back, just great for drying clothes! Currently, this is directed straight at the TRV on my radiator, so once the PC warms up the heating turns off. Soon be time to move it to its winter position, blowing warm air on my feet under the desk! (This is too hot in the summer)

It sounds like some of you work amongst scenes similar to Widow Twankies laundry! Pity the non-cyclists who have to put up with it!

I work in a great big building which has a great big boiler in the basement. We just put wet stuff in the boiler room. Most workplaces have the same. Just ask someone where yours is - but not HR as some have suggested -they'll have no idea.

I bike to work most days and I get VERY wet some days.

but, I don’t have a problem drying my cloths.

Do you wear proper cycling gear? heavy T-Shirts and heavy pants will take longer to dry.

Also, if you have any room that still have the AIRCON running this time off year you will find this helps. AirCon drys the air.

If I forget to bring a spare pair of underpants I put a towel on my seat and use the heat from my bottom to try them. Not ideal but it works :)

Air conditioning annoys me most of the time but it is great for getting my cycling stuff dry.

Get a job in a laboratory. My gloves and hat go in the 40C incubator.

And that "wringing stuff out wrapped in a towel trick" is great.
