Google maps query

Hopefully there might be some It gurus who can help with this query. I've been using google maps for a while and until recently never had this problem. If i expand the map to the left of the screen (to make it bigger and easie to see a larger area) the navigation controls no longer work, nor can I access the streetview features. When I click on the arrow to return the map to its normal size, all the features work again. Its pretty annoying!
(Not sure if perhaps I should have put this question in the tea shop?)

It works for me. It's possibly a Google issue. Google Maps is sometimes very slow. The nav control has to be downloaded like everything else. I'm not a guru, BTW.

Which web browser are you using? it might be worth trying in a different one, perhaps Google Chrome (which is optimised for JavaScript things, and is also built by Google).
