Home bargains £5 track pump

Just remembered to post this one. Last week I was doing a bit of shopping trying to find something new to buy people for christmas that they dont already have, popped into home bargains in Wednesfield although they have a number of stores. When I was in there the only christmas present I got was for my self  A new track pump.

They had silver coloured plastic ones and alloy bodied ones. I opted for an alloy one. At £5 I was expecting to be arguing for a refund with the manager later in the afternoon for goods not fit for purpose, but decided to risk it. It was indeed one of those risks that paid off. Great bit of kit. Simple and solid connection to presta and schrader valves. Large gauge to guess PSI from. Pumps 120psi with little effort and it claims to do 160psi. Sturdy to use. Even looks fairly pleasant (for a pump :? ) I was so pleased I went back for a spare and got one for my other half when I was there. All 3 perform perfectly.

So if you are after a bargain, home bargains lives up to its name with this item.

I saw them a week or two ago and I thought at that price they would be c*ap. I'll nip down there and get one. Cheers! And a merry Christmas to you!! :D :D

Plastic handle on mine is alloy not plastic. They must have more than 2 types?
I went for a 4th one a few days ago and it seems loose at the top but pumps fine, I doubt it will last long but is in the garage as a spare.

Sorry about the info here it may not be as good as hoped in that they seem to be selling a lot of different items as the same
