After a bit of neglect (not be mention cycling down Weston beach a while back - salt and sand not good) my Brompton chain is much stretched. I've ordered another chain and new rear sprocket, as this appeared a bit worn, and as they are relatively cheap. I wondered what I ought to do about the chainring. It does appear slightly worn - enough to be visible but not a huge amount - and given the cost of replacement I am loathe to do so unless absolutely necessary. What is the story with new chains and chainrings? Should I just stick with it as it is and wait for it to noticably be an issue or replace? Conflicting advice on the net (now there's a surprise!).
