An overseas membership at a cheaper price than the full because the insurance etc. would not be valid, would be a good idea.

If it was a "virtual" membership - no magazine but a pdf and communication only by email, this might be a "goer"

.

I joined a few years ago and had to pay the full membership price, I was told I would get the magazine but could not avail of the usual benefits that come as standard as I am overseas.
I asked if it was then cheaper and the answer was 'no'. I cancelled the following year as the £36 for just a bi-magazine was excessive.
I think charging the same rate as a student would not be unfair.
