how to locate an Islabike owner near York

I want to check the sizing of a Beinn 26" small bike for my 8 year old son before buying without having to travel to Ludlow. So I was hoping to find one nearer to home.

If you can wait until June, Isla Rowntree is usually at the CTC York Rally and usually has bikes there to try.

Check out the BC website for Go-Ride clubs in your area. These are clubs aimed at getting children into cycling, then contact local ones to see if anyone has an Islabike, some of the children in ours have Islabike's

I bought a 26" luath for my 9 year old daugther for Xmas and found the size chart very accurate - she was just big enough for it at 1.35m tall - check the inside leg measurements also - it quotes 64cms - the luath has 65cms and my daughter (who is tall for her age) only just clears it.
Very good bikes - recommended
