Patrick if you ride in Cheshire anything like regular you'll see at least three groups, one group of four ladies I can think of, two of which still wear headscarves, something I find quite endearing.
Hey John, was this them

I am half female according to my husband!! - A boy in a skirt etc.
I lurk round here but haven't been as committed since the layout changed in the summer and I could not fathom how to upload photos.
Words don't come all that easily so I don't post much.

We have a lot to learn from women. Forget the attractive accessories girls come with, it's the lack of a completist gene that's the big difference. If a chap buys three copies of a magazine (or whatever) he's at the early stages of a collection, he can't even climb a hill without labelling it and comparing it to other hills and going for a matched set.
My wife has a touring bike. She's had it nearly twenty years. It fits her, the equipment is all old-school but works and she has never had a craving for another touring bike. A man would want to know how it compared to every other touring bike, whether the latest equipment was worth having and would reduce himself to penury attempting to find out, before realising he quite liked the first bike. Truly, we men are a tragic lot.

Either your wife is unique or I am.
Any ancient equipment on my bikes would have been due to lack of funds, new technology is gladly embraced as and when I can afford it as long as it is suitable for the job in question.

Women are no different when it comes to shoes
Truly, we men are a tragic lot
And women look good in nice shoes, which, come to think of it,amounts to the same thing regarding men and tragedy
However,clogs,now theres a poser
