Does anyone know if they are available and if so where I might get one. I'm sure I read a Lejog blog of someone describing the temperature so I assumed they may have had some sort of guage on their handlebars.
Thank you in advance for your help.

could you not just get a small garden themonitor and tape it to your seat tube?

Many bike computers have a thermometer built-in, even cheapy ones. Didn't the recent Lidl 12 quid jobby have that facility?

You need to realise that on a bright day a temp gauge on a bike will only display a sensible temperature when you have been in motion for some time, so that it equilibrates to the temperature of the moving air. When you are still, it will tend to heat up to above air temp on a bright day, sometimes a lot above.
