I'm a little confused by Regulator's remark. The motion was put to the members at the 2008 AGM. The motion was lost. Seems like a democratic process and a democratic outcome to me.


It was merely an aside Gaz. There are varying views of what constitutes 'democracy'.

Some might say the refusal of CTC to allow those with concerns about the current charity proposals fair access to the same communications channels to members that the 'pro' lobby have is undemocratic - particularly when the Chair promised at last year's that they would encourage and facilitate a full and frank debate. :wink:
