I'm looking for some parts to restore a few old bikes including the steerer and stem assembly from an early Brompton (small diameter headset - changed c.1990-92 and if old 20 spoke front wheel also interested)
I also need a cottered RH crank of the right type to go on an Elswick Thunderflash (young person's bike).
Additionally looking to match a cotterless 'lightweight' slim steel crank - I have RH with spider arms - need LH (170) to match forging stamped NERVAR - SPORT. It would be nice to find the matching part.
Always on look-out for traditional lightweight steel crank sets, cotterless, with common PCD spider for the rings. Slim lightweight steel are roughly same weight as bulky heavy duty alloy, and much more durable for my style of cycling.
Old bike parts - restorations
General cycling advice ( NOT technical ! )
