I'll be there (natch), as will:

  • John Meudell
  • Simon Legg

Feel free to add your name

I won't.....would have been nice, but I've the local event to support if I can get out (the Meriden weekend- I'm sure that you've read all the publicity for it in 'CycleClips' and in 'Cycle', and had an email shot from your Councillor telling you all about it  ).

What's that you say? You've never heard of it? But what about all the publicity that National Office have given it?

< sorry to subvert the thread so early, I should have realised that Meriden is about cycling rather than politics so probably not a CTC issue  >

I went last year but I have already booked up my holiday allowance for this year.
I dont think there was much advertising last year either as there were only two tents and one caravan at the campsite!!!
I am talking about Meriden of course.

As for the AGM, I have already had one electoral non-event this month, so I have delegated my regional councilor to vote in my place.

Yes - support from CTC NO has been sadly lacking for several years for what is proclaimed as a "National Event" .... all of which begs the question of whether there will be an event in 2011?

I shall be there at the cost of upsetting some of my family.  They wanted me to be in Devon.

Never mind maybe I can upset someone in return.

I can't imagine you upsetting anyone!

I'll be there. With 35 billion proxy votes. I always knew that John Bull printing kit would come in handy.

It's going to be nasty. Greg's up there now, and he reports a marked lack of civility from the powers that be. I look at it this way - if we win then there's some hope for the CTC, and if we lose then I can find something different to worry about. Either way the day will finish a lot better than it starts.....

I was hoping for a giant plasma screen and Katie Boyle serving live updates from the Loughborough jury for Boom Bang Bang. Or at least someone with a sneaky smartphone.

I was there. I waved. And voted.
