Motion 4 (re appoint auditors) passed - boo hiss
Motion 5 (increase local group allocation) passed - hurrah
Motion 6 (CEO Job desc) EDIT: passed
Motion 7 (subs increase) passed - £37 next year folks

Have to think that such a close vote is probably the worst result possible for the club, erm charity I mean. A landslide either way would have shown where we were going, but such a close vote suggest that almost half the club, erm charity I mean, who voted are going to be out of sorts with the decision.

Even though they have won, Council might find that they have some hard work ahead in order to smooth over a few cracks.

One of the worrying things all along has been that Council have shown little desire to keep the CTC together or to deal with the cracks that have been so visibly emerging; they seem to have been in "win at all costs and s** the consequences" mode.

Motion 10 has been lost (only 60% of 75% required ) ... not sure what that means as it's the one about amending the Constitution/Mem & Arts to meet Charity Commission requirements ... seems like a showstopper ... or at best a delay and a need for another vote on this point?
