Just seen, on a map of Chester Zoo, that a "public cycle path" runs through the middle of it.
Does anyone know anything about it?

I've cycled it several times, you dont actually enter the zoo, there are footbridges over it for zoo visitors ... its all a bit weird. You do get to see several animals though ..... weird on a bike ride to spot vultures, impala, meercats, zebra etc. Worth a ride through if you are in the area.

Yes it is a great route and quite surreal. Do it.

Thanks people for all the replies.
It was mainly out of interest as I was looking at a Zoo map and noticed it.
I did Google it and came up witha few links but not one actually mentioned what it was for.
There is a cycle path at the back of Blackpool Zoo which passes the big cat enclosures.
