mini trackpumps: why no telescopic foot to avoid stooping

These mini track pumps seem the best but seem twice as heavy as necessary (ie twice the weight of a Pneuforce) and too short: why not a telescopic foot to raise them so as no stooping required?

if they did extend, they would be more than twice as heavy
