Continental Grand Prix 4 Seasons. They are light, fast and offer good P*ncture protection.

Continental Gatorskins,
Panaracer RibMos,
Panaracer Paselas
First two are very puncture ressistant and not slow tyres by any stretch.
The third is lighter but not quite as ressistant to punctures as the others.

Many thanks looks like a lot of choice. I once had Paselas they had very thin walls and frayed fast. I liked the feel of them but they died before I did any real mileage. I am veering towards the 4 Seasons. The Vitoria look like a good deal.

+1 for the 4 seasons. I switched to them last year & haven't had a puncture since. They're a bit pricey, but I've recovered my £ (and then some) by not having to buy new inner tubes.

23mm, but a big 23mm, if you know what I mean. I use them on my winter bike and tourer. One puncture in over 2 years.

Don't know if they are any good but spotted these at Spa Cycles for £6.50.

I think I may have some 23c Rubino pro on a set of fixed wheels hanging up with a total mileage of 15miles. I am going to go with those for now and then possibly go for the Conti 4 seasons.

i've been using 23c Ultra Gatorskins with no punctures since I fitted them 6 months ago - 4/5 rides a week. The trick is to change your tyres as soon as they start to show signs of wear, use as high a pressure as possible, I have mine at at + 100 and 110 psi, quick hand brush after each ride and lastly don't follow farmers cutting hedges!

I have foun dthe Continental Gatorskins to be a very tight fit on my drc 700 x 25 rims so having ridden Schwalbe Marathon plus 26" x 1.5" on our tandem with no punctures in over 2,000 miles I am now trying their 700 x 25's on a solo.
