V-brake Travel Agent : where to buy ?

Post by d clark »

Does anyone know where I can purchase a Travel Agent. No not the type which books your holidays. This is an L shaped fitment with two small pulleys around which is fed the brake cable. Its use is to compensate the the pull required by a V brake to the shorter movement of an STI lever. It was reviewed by Chris Juden in Cycle Sep. 2002

http://www.ison-distribution.com/ison/english/searchresults.php?group=105

I did a google on 'travel agent brakes' and came up with the above link. If it does not work, it is for Ison distributors who distribute them I also saw a link to the CTC desktop so that is probably the obvious place to start.

SJSC have them

It sounds like they aren't being produced any more.
V-daptors are another option that do the same job differently (also on above link)
