Vianne Rocher was choc a bloc aux truffes noires on Badgers Mount, the main menu excluded VAT, which overturned, spilling custard over bicycles and a copy of The Daily Heiligenacht carol-singers hymnsheets and sung by Millwall fans.

"Nobody, but nobody saw the Hamster, Heath and safety inspector surreptitiously trousering a few quid from Mick's Moultin fund

Cardboard cutouts of Crystal Palace dinosaurs were made available online but Waitrose Click and Collect supplied the asteroid. The trouble was, the Iguanodon's nose was into everything, it could smell with its thumb but because it was stuck up (Gideon Mantell's mistake!) with insatiable courtiosity pointing skywards towards planets, stars and a Mars bar-shaped asteroid, heading towards a Galaxy and a mutinous crew.

"Aaaarrrrhhh! Jim-we've run out of Squire Trelawney's treasure maps but Flint had buried his knap sack full fathom five. Swapping parrot for
