Me too!

Have you ever looked at them? Absolutely jam packed with adverts ..... and if they're not adverts, they are sponsored articles about fashion. I agree there are bits of them with worthwhile stuff, but without the adverts, the magazine would be dead. It's the only way they can survive.

"Lads Mags" are the same, and even our beloved Cycle Mag, but we cyclists and motoring enthusiasts want a bit of meat. We want product reviews, performance figures, facts and stuff. Adverts as well, of course, but adverts with information. Women's mags seem to have full-page spreads with nothing on them but a photograph and a logo.

Si,
And you don't do "waxing lyrical"? Come on - you've just disproved that claim - lets see your articles.

Excuse me? Oh, yeah, I see what you mean :D

I was going to try writing one, but then a very similar one, or rather, one on the same subject came up in the mag this issue. Might have a go anyway and plonk it on the forum if Cycle isn't interested. After all, if a good part of Cycle's content is from members, I shouldn't really complain about it until I've had a go myself.
