Thinking of getting some proper (front) lights, too much back and beyond cycling to and from work to rely on my simple lights. Don't want to spend a fortune but something that not only makes me 'seen' but also enables me to spot the odd pothole in the dark/fog. Any ideas?

Plenty of suggestions abound - at the moment I believe Aldi have a cheap CREE torch available...
