Re: Dynamo lighting system recommendations & thoughts
Exciting package arrived.
However, it only came with one wire This wire was packaged with the front light. There should have been one packaged with the rear light as well, no?

Yes in my case the B&M toplight rear light came with a very long cable of its own. I did not need any additional bits for installation, all were in the boxes.
I think you should email the online shop.

Thanks! I have emailed them.
How do you guys 'attach' the wire to the fork? Wrap it round? Cable ties? Insulation tape?
Downloaded the DH-3N80 hub instructions, which is helping.

black insulation tape in my case. Low key, looks nice on my black forks/racks.

We thank you for your request at Bike24.
Rear lights will not be delivered with wires. Just at the front light is the
wire included.

So, I have a problem.

A couple of quid and your problem is over, search Schmidt Co-axial cable from Bike plus.
http://www.bikeplus.co.uk/
Or you could just use any wire, many use speaker cable, the coaxial cable is so much better

Hmm, that could be the case. But didn't you get the front light as well? You should have got cable for the rear.
Re: Dynamo lighting system recommendations & thoughts
I don't know these lights and dynamo, but how many connectors are on the front and rear lights? If only one each, with two on the dynamo, then perhaps the frame is supposed to carry the earth. So you would then need one wire from the dynamo to the front light, and one fromn the dynamo to the rear light. Your photo shows one cable with two wires. You can upzip it as required for your bike.
But I could be wrong.

B&M do a variety of brackets to allow the Cyo or the Fly top be fitted to bikes with Canti's,Vee or calipers. My choice, Schmidt hub, IQ CYO and a D Toplight for a rack fit or the Seculite plus for mudguards. If you want a metal case there is always the Supernove E3

Re: Dynamo lighting system recommendations & thoughts
Or the Schmidt Edelux. As for the wiring, some B&M lights need two strands, others only one (and use the frame). I like the Schmidt co axial cable.

Glue.
Lightly spot glue the cable in the best position with super glue (at 6" intervals), then add something a bit more substantial. I use epoxy resin. It's still small enough that removal won't become an issue.
You can also stuff excess cable up the steerer tube (fork crown), so that it's always available if you should ever wish to re-locate the light.

The headlamp has a live & earth connection to the dynamo. It also has two spade connectors to attach the rear live & earth (rear light to headlamp not dynamo). It doesn't earth through the frame.
In terms of attaching the wires I have a green frame and bought green zip ties for the job. They look quite good. I used them for my computer sensor on the front fork too. I had to buy a multicolour pack and pick out the green ones.

Info. I have found on the front light packaging:
This ^ package did indeed contain one cable only (of 60cm).
