Sunday ride

Well at 4 degrees below, I managed a 40 mile ride this morning on my newly acquired thorn and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it..... apart from struggling with the call of nature. Happy riding all.

I suffered a frozen-up water bottle or the first time this winter. And very sweaty hands from my new Aldi waterproof gloves.

I have a thermoflask from Lidl and I put warm drink in and it stayed warm for over two hours, I have Aldi gloves too, very good value and they do get sweaty, but still keep your hands warm though. I use mostly Aldi gear, their winter jackets are brill as well as a Merino wool jumper I bought recently. Happy riding.
