NO. 26 1 1/4 is 597-32. I am looking at some right now on my pub bike. 590 is 26 1 3/8, remember the depth of the tyre changes .

Just incase you are unaware 26 x 1 3/8 and 26 x 1 1/4 do not fit the same rim, some assume that it is like 700 x 28c or 700 x 32c, which will both fit the a 700c rim.
It was the same with the imperial 27 x 1" 1/4 and 1" 1/8 tyres, they both fitted a 27" rim, however 26 x 1 3/8 and 26 x 1 1/4 are actually different sizes, so I can see why many get confused.

Which is why I specified 26x1 1/4, which has a diameter of 597mm.
I have been looking at some vintage machines on ebay which use said tyres. I would only consider purchasing such a machine if the tyres are still available.
I looked on the Schwalbe website and couldn't find any that were the size I have enquired about, and also couldn't see any on the Wiggle site.
I am not interested in the 26x1 3/8 (590).

I was just making sure, re' Schwalbe you will find it unusual to find a retailer who will hold them instock, they were not common even when imperial sizes were the norm'.
They are on the UK distributors web site though http://www.fisheroutdoor.co.uk/
http://www.fisheroutdoor.co.uk/public/i ... YS414.html
http://www.fisheroutdoor.co.uk/public/i ... YS415.html
They have a dealer listing via a postcode entry that may prove useful http://www.fisheroutdoor.co.uk/public/i ... tailer.php
