Quality grumping I'd say! Friend of yours?

It seems I can only access a few days worth, no access to archives. Is that correct or have I missed something?

Yep me too,its a blessing to all mankind that they don't go public, and I'm eternally greatful for that, which is more than can be for our septuagenerian friend.

Or do I suspect a gentle dig in the ribs

Its the sort of stuff I like to read when I think I've had a bad day...
Afterwards I can say to myself, "Could be worse..." and believe it! :D

Hubgearfreak, It's just dawned upon me that my initial post on this thread could be interpreted as a rather unfavourable comment on yourself.
For the record, nothing of the sort was intended- I was making a light hearted reference to the fact that you and the Septagenarian seem to be in the same area.
Sorry for any embarrassment!

I did wonder why Hubbers was not being his normal grumpy self. Then I read some of the diary and asked myself if Hubbers had been trained by him.
