Display corrupted

I've used that title because it's the best way I can describe it. It may not be the correct expression among those who really know. Fairly frequently now, when I'm looking at the board index, instead of the option to mark all forums read, I see a line of gobbledeygook (again, my own expression

) instead. Her's an example I got a couple of minutes ago.
<a href="./index.php?hash=53da3e80
Everything below that is blank, so it's a matter of clicking on something else to escape from that screen. No big deal but I presume it's not intentional.

Corrupted download of a page component, maybe? Try Shift-Refresh of the page, although if it's a specific component that may not get refreshed. Or clear your browser cache while looking at a different site.

Something must have gone wrong with your web browser, or possibly your web connection. What you are seeing is the raw HTML that the browser should turn into the normal page display.
Which browser are you using?
IE6 certainly used to do odd things if its cache was over-full, but I'm not aware of modern browsers having any problems.

Here are instructions on
clearing your cache. I do recommend making sure that you don't have a page from this (CTC Forum) site open when you do it - if you do, you'll have the page components loaded and you may not clear them successfully.
Or, just try point 4 on those when you are looking at a corrupted page. If that doesn't work, go back and try 1-3 as above.
