Is there a comprehensive list anywhere of cycle-friendly accommodation on the End to End Route?

Go to the main menu, click on cyclists welcome and then you can type in the location where you want to stay, it usually comes up with accomodation and bike shops. I've used it a few times and the one's I've stayed in have been very good. Choice of accomodation will also come down to which route you are going as there isn't an official end to end route.

The Directory at http://www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk is attempting to create just that - for accomm and bike shops ... BUT it needs feedback from riders ... there's a start there.

That's a good idea, and I'll add some reports once I've done my LEJOG. However, I think it would be better if it was linked to a map rather than being in alphabetical order. For instance, I'm looking for accommodation in Fenton, and there's nothing on your website for that. I'm then looking at nearby places, which don't start with F.

Oh, and if anyone else can recommend a place to stay near there, I'd be very grateful.

THE BEST place is the CTC website see: http://www.ctc-maps.org.uk/cyclists_welcome/by_location/map?distance=20&place=bristol.
The example for Bristol shows for example 5 x Refreshments, 10 x Accommodation, 17 x Bike Shops

If you are after Travel Lodges & Premier Inns I have shown a few on this map:http://www.bikemap.net/route/711431

That's great. I've managed to get a couple of Travelodges for £19, but other dates are a bit pricy.
Anyone got any recommendations for Kendal, Moffat, Loch Lomond, Invergarry, Golspie and Thurso?
