Brompton Chain unships

I have had a 6 speed Brompton for some years with occasional light use. Recently the chain has taken to falling off when the rear section is swung out. Cleaning the chain seemed to help (and meant that my hands got less mucky ) but did not fully solve the problem. Time for a new chain ?

Have you cleaned the chain tensioner? Perhaps the chain tensioner bolt has loosened.

I would second the suggestion to check the chain tensioner bolt.
