Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have a question. At the age of 43, I've got myself a new Giant hybrid through the Cycle to Work scheme to help me lose my love handles and want to know how much my old bike is worth (as well as my daughters bike) before posting the For Sale thread. Is there a specific place I can post asking this?

Traditionally, we take the bike-valuation questions in the "Does Anyone Know" section.

Thanks. I just need to work my way into things slowly so as to lessen the saddle soreness! I probably haven't ridden a bike in anger for about 25 years At least there's some nice flat paths that run along the Thames that I can practice on

Yep - a little and often will help you to overcome the constraints of your current physical condition.

In a few months you might realise what a good thing that you have been missing out on for all those years.
