Of course not - I think you're just teasing. Nothing wrong with personal opinions, and disagreements about equipment or activities, but there's a line beyond which we'd regard other people's attitudes and activities as excessive or irrational, or even slightly kinky. Different people will draw the line in a different place.
Having strong opinions about pedals seems reasonable enough, as long as people don't get upset and abusive. As I'm sure you realise.

I would dump the cheapo cantis but keep the blocks also the hub and the rear mech but only if it is totaly cream crackered.
