Nobody seems to have mentioned this one. When I first heard of 'the wedding present' on the news, I did comment to Mrs D-to-be, "I wonder how long it will be before we see it on ebay?"
Well now it seems that TfL is up in arms about this. They have missed an important point. That bike only cost 500 squids, their Royal Backsides only need to be seen sitting on it...... and it will immediately become priceless. Royal fans will be bidding thousands to own it.

From a pragmatic point of view, if it fits onto the stands for the single-seat Boris Bikes, they could start to generate their own income stream.

Oh, yes, I meant to comment. I thought it was brilliant!! I do hope they use it sometime!
