We're wanting to do coast to coast twice in 24hours, we worked it out to be 13mph on average with an hour and a halfs rest so we have time for a meal but it's the getting going after a meal i'd like to avoid :p

They went to paris and back and i did a double lejog and on their trip they stopped at mcdonalds for breakfast dinner and lunch whereas on mine i ate sausage rolls and pies so for our combined c2c2c i'm wanting to have a set plan of what and when we eat that gives us a fighting chance to complete it!

You could just enter any 400k Audax and when you finish in 24 hours, you will have just upped your record to 250 miles.

How much of an improvement are you after for now?

The event that everybody talks about is the 24 hour time trials run by the Mersey Roads Cycle Club.
I dont know how you enter it but I think that you need proof of previous form to avoid people turning up who have no experience of long distance riding and probably slow coaches like me. :D

If you've done any time trials it's would handy to know the procedure. If you haven't get cracking! Even if it's just for something to put on the entry form for the shorter distances instead of leaving them blank.
