I've just completed LEJOG on a hybrid and I've got the bug. I'd like to move onto a full road bike suitable for Sportives etc and I'm looking for a shop that will give me great service and get me fitted properly to the bike. Any ideas really appreciated?

Asumming you're happy to pay for great service and proper bike fitting then Sigma Sport at Hampton Wick is I think the best shop in the area, if not the country?
The new Specialized shop in Kingston (if you like that brand) would also look after you well I'm sure.
They are withineasy walking distance of each other (as is a big perfectly adequate Evans store).
Spoilt for choice! so they have to try hard.

Pearson's in Sutton seemed to be knowledgeable. I've not bought anything from them but did have a chat with them a couple of years ago.
Depending on on how much you want to spend you could have a frame custom built by Roberts in Croydon and then have a custom built bike (maybe beyond your technical know how if you've only just started cycling).
Have a look at Brixton Cycles in Stockwell and Der Ver Cycles in Streatham, there's a Trek Concept shop in Wimbledon.
For very high end look at Condor in central London.
Really take your time thinking about the type of bike you want and do a lot of research before parting with your cash.
