Re: Easyjet staff told me I HAD TO HAVE CANVAS BIKE BAG

Dear Helen, dear all,
thank you for this valuable information. I just went to the forum for a similar problem and thought it better to attach my question to this thread.
The German translation of the EasyJet's regulations simply states "bicycle container" (Fahrradbehälter), which is a rather vague expression. Having just booked a return flight from Berlin to Glasgow Int., I am wavering between the purchase of two products:
- closed bicycle garage (a bag), 1.5 kg, http://www.roseversand.de/artikel/rose- ... aid:297387
- or foil garage (open), 350g, http://www.roseversand.de/artikel/folie ... /aid:21956
I traveled with using the foil garage about four times with Ryanair and never had a problem. Also I prefer to check in my bicycle in a state where it can be pushed and used it for two or three long bicycle trip as a footprint.
Now, is option 2 a "bicycle bag"? Would like to hear about your experiences.
