Hello all, I'll be making my own e2e from John O'Groats to Land's End starting on 8th April 2005.
Follow my progress at http://www.watchingthewheels.co.uk (website to be uploaded by end of March 2005).
I expect to be rolling into Land's End on Sunday of Mayday weekend (1st May). I'll look out for you!
I'm still putting the finishing touches to my route and itinerary, and may ask some specific enquiries of experienced folk on this forum in the coming weeks.
Thanks, Tim
JOGLE (i think it rings better than LEJOG)

Hi,
I've just completed LEJOG on my road-specced mountain bike if you want any advice on routes, tyres, equipment etc. I covered 1032 miles over 17 days on an east of pennines route averaging about 12 mph.

Thanks Stu, I will certainly take you up on your offer of advice.
Unfortunately I had a tumble from my bike on Saturday evening and broke bones for the first time in my life. Third and fourth metacarpals in my left hand. Bu99er! Anyway, my train is booked in ten days time so i'm going to have to delay by a couple of weeks at least I think.
I still haven't seen the specialist. I'd welcome any advice from folk who have had a similar injury. It's not massively painful except when i load it!!!
