one impediment to becoming a virtual organisation is the failure to collect e-mail addresses. Last time I looked the percentage of up-to-date e-mail addresses for some DAs was running at thirtysomething percent. Few were over 50%.

Since you didn't ask, the percentage of Fridays members for which I hold up-to-date e-mail addresses is 100%

Is there any other way to join the Fridays?

The DA's dont get given the email addresses from head office do they?

I would say that our DA has probably got 100% of the email addresses of people who come out for rides with them, I dont count the many riders who attend despite not having an e-mail address.

As for those people in our catchment area who dont turn up?

Who knows who they are even? Not even them!

the DAs do get complete member lists including e-mail addresses from HO - but the collection of e-mail addresses is patchy.
