C2C - Camping in Whitehaven

Hi All,
C2C'ing on Thursday...the only thing I haven't managed to organize yet is a nights camping near Whitehaven, does anyone have any suggestions?

I have not camped here, but it is a nice location and just a bit south of Whitehaven.

Half way between Seascale and Drigg is Shepherds View Campsite and a little further down the coast at Ravenglass is a Camping and Caravanning Club site which is very good.

You could try Stonehouse farm, St. Bees.
http://stonehousefarm.net/index.htm which is far cheaper and pubs nearby or a bit nearer to Whitehaven is Tarn Flatt farm
http://www.tarnflattfarm.co.uk/index.htm. Best to give them ring to check first, but I think should be ok.

Hi Martin - what route did you take pls ?
Am planning to do the C2C MTB in May and just starting to put together a route.
