Does anyone know of a source for extra long seatpost ( 34mm dia.(?) ) for a Dahon. Current post is 480mm from the min insertion mark to saddle rails - Or is there any other solution?
Thanks

World Wheels' website lists a telescoping seatpost. Their online store doesn't seem to be working, but I'd give them a call. With a 400mm or even 450mm seatpost in the upper section you'd have more seatpost length than I can imagine anyone needing.

Clearly a candidate for a broomstick Mick
Would a longer post cause issues with folding?

A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

I got a telescopic post from Thor about 5 years ago which goes way up and allows you to put a normal(Brooks) saddle on instead of those strange ones they put on some of the lightweights

tragically this says the long seat post is out of stock. I would phone them up. They were very helpful when I did. The package was labelled 'repair parts' which possibly saves it from tax at the border.
