I have had a set of Specialised lever's for 33 years!
I still use them on every ride and they have not let me down yet.
I'm not boasting...well not really.

Why would I want Allen keys when repairing a puncture?
Perhaps they are to prize the tyre off the rim when the tyre levers have snapped. Nah, that's what the Missis' best serving spoons are for

I've had Specialized ones break after a couple of years, Tesco ones break at first use, so now I use my Dad's old Mafac set. Still got the original tin

Something else obviously is though, if you're getting that much use out of them!

Trust me, using tyre levers on every ride is nothing to brag about.

Tyre levers? I use spoon handles, they double as something to eat my pack up with!

I don't use repair kits. My butler drives behind me in the Rolls and when I have a puncture he swops bikes. The punctures are fixed each month when a tradesman comes in to do odd jobs.
I don't know where he gets his patches. And why should I?

Cheapskate! Why not just use new tubes. How poor are you!

Fool! You have woken the p*nct*re fairy. I predict she will visit you within a fortnight.

Shouldn't it be the puncture devil? I can't believe a fairy would do such a thing. Anyway, I'm looking forward to reporting back to you on the accuracy of your prediction. I'm no longer commuting by bike so he/she will have to be diligent to catch me on a ride this weekend or next.
Beware that if your prediction is correct I might be tempted to conclude that *you* are the pucture fairy/devil.

Wilkinsons, today: 92p for 6 patches.

How do you manage to get tyre levers to snap? Mine just bend right back on themselves!
